“What other people think of you is none of your business.” It is an easy piece of advice to give, but an incredibly hard one to practice.

The truth is, someone else’s feelings, judgments, or boundaries do not become your responsibility until you choose to carry them. True growth means learning the difference between:

When a person experiences a distressing event or struggles with chronic stress, those memories can sometimes feel “stuck” in the brain—leading to anxiety, flashbacks, or negative self-beliefs.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a proven, gentle therapy that helps the brain safely process and heal from these experiences. Through side-to-side stimulation like guided eye movements or tapping, this process lowers the emotional weight of old pain, helping the brain file the past away and replace it with a sense of safety and resilience.
