About Me
I’m a seasoned therapist, published author, and proud dog mom to Peattie and Dr. Dre, with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and couples create meaningful, lasting change. At my core, I’m a mother to three incredible children and one angel baby—a truth that has profoundly shaped my understanding of love, grief, resilience, and the sacredness of human connection.
My work is grounded in an eclectic, holistic approach to mental health. I meet clients where they are with empathy, honesty, and unwavering support. I believe healing happens through connection—with ourselves, with others, and with something greater than us, however you define that. Spirituality, for me, is about meaning, presence, and honoring the inner wisdom we all carry—not dogma, but depth.
I specialize in couples and sex therapy, supporting partners as they navigate communication breakdowns, emotional disconnection, trust ruptures, and challenges around desire and intimacy. Whether you’re healing after betrayal, stuck in recurring conflict, or simply longing for deeper closeness, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where both partners feel seen, respected, and empowered to rebuild connection and rediscover joy.
My approach to sex therapy is sex-positive, inclusive, and rooted in deep respect for the diversity of human experience. I work with individuals and couples exploring sexual identity, desire discrepancies, performance anxiety, kink/BDSM dynamics, and the impact of trauma on intimacy. Together, we deconstruct shame, rewrite outdated narratives, and build intimacy that feels authentic, embodied, and fulfilling.
With personal experience of mental illness and addiction within my own family, I bring lived empathy and a strong trauma-informed lens to my work. I understand how pain and resilience often coexist—and how healing frequently begins with being witnessed without judgment.
I integrate somatic practices, mindfulness, and evidence-based modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I help clients reconnect with their bodies, develop emotional regulation, and shift patterns that no longer serve them. I believe trauma lives in the body—and so does healing.
Beyond traditional therapy, I offer coaching for personal transformation for those ready to move from insight into action. Coaching is ideal if you’re seeking greater clarity, confidence, purpose, or alignment with your values—and want support creating real, sustainable change.
As a published author, I weave writing, research, and reflection into my work, offering tools that extend beyond the therapy room. I see therapy and coaching not as separate from daily life, but as pathways to living more intentionally, fully, and freely.
