About Me

Relationships have the power to shape us, challenge us, heal us, and transform us. Whether you're navigating struggles within your relationship, exploring your identity, healing from trauma, rebuilding after divorce, or simply longing to feel more connected to yourself or the people you love, therapy can be a place where lasting change begins.

I work with adults, couples, families, parents, and LGBTQ+ individuals, supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, family conflict, addiction and recovery, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, and emotional healing. While I enjoy working with a wide variety of concerns, I am especially passionate about helping couples strengthen their relationships and supporting individuals exploring intimacy, sexuality, and authentic connection.

My practice is rooted in the belief that healing happens through honest relationships—with ourselves and with others. I provide a sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore love, intimacy, identity, alternative relationship structures, and the parts of themselves that may have previously felt too vulnerable or complicated to share.

My therapeutic style is both soft and strong. I bring warmth, honesty, and compassion into every session while also gently challenging clients toward meaningful growth. Therapy with me isn't about perfection—it's about creating a space where you can laugh, cry, ask difficult questions, and discover new ways of understanding yourself and the people around you.

I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, Somatic Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Together, we'll create a personalized approach that honors your experiences, your goals, and the life you want to build.

One of the things that makes my approach unique is that I believe no one should feel ashamed of the parts of themselves they're struggling to understand. Whether you're working through trauma, intimacy concerns, relationship conflict, or questions about identity, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully honest. Healing begins when we no longer have to hide.

Outside of therapy, my greatest joy is my family. I'm a mother of three, plus one angel, a proud dog mom to Peattie and Dre, and an aunt to my great-nieces and great-nephew. I value love, laughter, honesty, movement, and meaningful connection, and I strive to live those same values both inside and outside the therapy room.

I am also the published author of three books, including one that shares my own journey with mental illness. Telling my story has reinforced what I believe to be true for every client I meet: healing is possible, people are incredibly resilient, and our most painful chapters do not have to define the rest of our story.

My hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling more grounded, more empowered, and less alone. You don't have to become someone different to create meaningful change—you simply have to discover the courage to come home to yourself.
