About Me
I know how nerve-racking it can be to start therapy and I recognize the bravery it takes to seek support for yourself. It’s a vulnerable process and I prioritize making sure it is a safe and comfortable space for you to show up just as you are.
I work with people navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, trauma, grief and loss, existential matters, burnout, and more. I also work with all types of couple’s navigating challenges with communication, intimacy, and emotional connection. My approach is collaborative (we make decisions and set goals together), experiential (healing moves beyond the mind and into the body), relational (our relationship is an instrument for healing), affirming (I validate and respect all your identities), and trauma-informed (we co-create a safe space for healing and avoid re-traumatization). I strive to create a therapeutic environment where where you can practice voicing your needs, being held in your emotions, and celebrated for your authentic expression. Each session is tailored to your needs and goals, and can involve verbal processing, parts work, mediation, somatic awareness, and more. Most importantly, I will meet you where you are in your healing journey.
Mental health struggles are not simply individual issues, they are intertwined with the systems of power and oppression alive in our society and I believe it is important to recognize and name their impacts on our wellbeing. Our work will go beyond symptom management, and get to the root of your concerns, so you may experience lasting, and meaningful change in your life. More joy, purpose, and connection are at the heart of what I believe therapy can offer you. I especially love the depth, understanding, and clarity that tarot cards, astrology, and meditation can add to the therapeutic process.”
