About Me

Life doesn't come with a roadmap, and some of the most meaningful chapters of our lives can also be the most challenging. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, adjusting to parenthood, supporting your family, exploring your identity, or working through difficult experiences from the past, you don't have to do it alone.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with children, teens, young adults, adults, couples, families, parents, LGBTQ+ individuals, and neurodivergent clients. Many of the people I support are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, family conflict, relationship challenges, identity exploration, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, addiction and recovery, or significant life transitions. I am especially passionate about working with new parents, young adults, and individuals who find themselves in seasons of change and growth.

One area of my practice that is particularly meaningful to me is supporting foster and adoptive families. I have extensive experience helping clients navigate adoption and foster care journeys, including working alongside California's child welfare system and understanding the unique emotional, relational, and practical challenges these experiences can bring. I have also supported LGBTQ+ caregivers as they grow their families through foster care and adoption.

My therapeutic style is warm, casual, and compassionate. I believe that meaningful growth happens when people feel safe enough to be vulnerable and supported enough to be honest. While therapy can sometimes involve difficult conversations, I approach those moments with gentleness, empathy, and genuine care. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy. Together, we'll identify what works best for your unique needs and create a path forward that feels both manageable and meaningful.

As a telehealth therapist, I am intentional about creating connection, even through a screen. I understand that virtual therapy can sometimes feel distant, so I make it a priority to ensure my clients feel supported, engaged, and genuinely cared for throughout our work together.

My lived experiences as a parent also help me connect with many of the clients I serve. I understand firsthand how life evolves through different stages and transitions, and I believe there is value in having a therapist who can meet you with both professional knowledge and human understanding.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my family, caring for my dogs and cat, and exploring spirituality through daily reflection and intention-setting practices. I believe in approaching life with curiosity, grace, and compassion, and I bring those same values into my work with clients.

My hope is that every person who walks into therapy feels supported, empowered, and reminded that they don't have to carry everything on their own. It is a privilege to be trusted with people's stories, and I am committed to helping my clients navigate life's challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and self-compassion.
