About Me
Healing isn't about being defined by your past, your diagnosis, or the hardest moments of your life. It's about reconnecting with your strengths, discovering what's possible, and creating a life that feels meaningful and authentic.

I welcome individuals, couples, families, parents, and clients from all walks of life. Whether you're navigating trauma, grief, relationship challenges, recovery, family struggles, spiritual questions, or a major life transition, my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I believe every person's story is unique, and therapy should honor that individuality rather than fit you into a label or diagnosis.

Much of my work centers around healing childhood trauma, attachment wounds, family of origin experiences, complex trauma, grief and loss, and substance use recovery. I also enjoy supporting helping professionals, as well as individuals exploring questions of identity, purpose, spirituality, and personal growth. As both an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC-CAS), I bring an integrated perspective that recognizes the connection between emotional health, relationships, and recovery.

My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply compassionate while also encouraging personal responsibility and growth. I believe healing happens through connection, insight, and empowerment. While I offer empathy and understanding, I also help clients recognize their own resilience and capacity for change. My goal isn't simply to help you feel better—it's to help you build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are.

One of the values I hold most deeply is ensuring that people never feel reduced to a diagnosis. Every person carries a story, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they make sense of their experiences and discover new ways of moving forward. Having experienced healing from both sides of the therapeutic relationship, I understand the courage it takes to ask for help, and I strive to meet every client with authenticity, humility, and respect.

I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, Somatic Therapy, CBT, ACT, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and holistic approaches. Together, we'll create a treatment plan that honors your goals while supporting meaningful, lasting change.

Outside of therapy, I find joy in spending time with my family—especially my grandchildren—and value practices that foster peace, reflection, and personal growth. Spirituality, self-renewal, and finding beauty in everyday life continue to ground me, and those values naturally shape the compassionate and intentional care I bring into my work.

My hope is that every client leaves therapy feeling seen, valued, and safe. Healing isn't about becoming someone different—it's about reconnecting with the strength, wisdom, and resilience that have been within you all along. I would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.
